Love to shop for bargains? In that case, the IJhallen in Amsterdam are a must do. IJhallen is one of the largest flea market with the best atmosphere in Holland. Every first Saturday and Sunday of the month more than 500 indoor stalls and more than 700 outdoor stalls offer secondhand clothing, books, furniture, electronics and more. As a result of the large scale, supply and demand often meet and the rate of success is fairly high.
It is always fun to stroll around at the IJhallen, but you can also sell your own stuff. Do you still have a lot of old stuff that you don’t use? There might be someone out there who needs/wants something you have and IJhallen in Amsterdam where to meet. Stall rents start from €22,-.
Admission is €4,00 per person. Children (under 12) get in for only €1,50. Parking is free and the free NDSM ferry departing from Amsterdam Central Station might add a fun factor to your flea market visit.
