Since April 2014, Design Hotel Miss Clara opened it’s door in Stockholm. It has a perfect location on the Sveavägen at number 48. An ideal central location to explore this great city!
The design
Miss Clara is located in one of the most beautiful Art Nouveau buildings in Stockholm, the former Atheneum girls school that was founded in 1910. Designed by Gert Wingårdh Wingårdhs of architects. The building was completely renovated and transformed into a high-class hotel. The architect was given the task to preserve the beautiful original features of the building, but giving it a new look using modern materials such as limestone, oak and natural leather, combined with the beautiful parquet wood floors and arched windows, Miss Clara is the perfect hotel for the real design junky among us.
In addition to the 92 rooms, the hotel has its own restaurant, gym, sauna and lounge.
