A caf\u00e9, a museum and a showroom with beautiful furniture, these can all be found in this 5 floors building in the lively, young and hip area Hongdae. It\u2019s a lovely place to enjoy beautiful items while having a drink and eating a small snack.
\nThis loft-building is owned by the famous Korean vintage furniture collector Myung-Hwan Kim. He\u2019s also the owner of the famous Italian restaurant \u2018AGIO\u2019 in Hongdae, which we\u2019ve mentioned in the restaurant-section (also a must visit!).<\/p>\n
After you\u2019ve entered, you\u2019ll get the feeling that you\u2019re somewhere outside of Seoul. The 19th century French doors, the antique lampposts from London and the Scandinavian design chairs are factors which makes this a unique place to hang out in the afternoon. At aA Design Museum they serve good coffee, delicious biological salads and especially the desserts are to die for! (see picture).<\/p>\n
What makes the aA Design museum such a unique place, is because you\u2019ll find a collection of furniture and ornaments from all over the world of the past twenty years. The collection varies widely and it\u2019s for sale for the ones who are interested in buying it.
