\nOn recommendation of friends and a well-known culinary reporter, we decided to give Saigon Cafe a try.
\nSaigon Cafe is located in the Leidsestraat above the Mac Donalds. Do pay attention when searching for Saigon, because you\u2019ll walk right past. The entrance has a classic brown interior with red velvet wallpaper, and the second level looked just as good.<\/p>\n
We were particularly curious about the Pho (pronounced Fuh). This is a super famous Vietnamese noodle soup, and well known all over the world except in the Netherlands.
\nWe always use to drive to Paris especially for this soup, so you can imagine that we had our hopes set high when we ordered the Pho hesitantly but also curiously, and my how delicious! Thank you Saigon Caf\u00e9 for saving us the long trips to Paris!<\/p>\n
Tip: Absolutely try the Pho with raw beef (our favourite) and for dessert the che chuoi (stewed banana in warm coconut vla)!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
