You will be lured into \u201cDe Kas\u201d by the fresh scent of tomatoes and basil that has been hand picked straight out of their own greenhouse.<br \/>\nThe staff will make you feel welcome. They will kindly help you with your coat and lead you to your table.<\/p>\n<h2>Interior Piet Boon<\/h2>\n<p>Then it&#8217;s down to pure fun! Piet Boon has designed the restaurant and looks great, with a beautiful grey cast floor, lamps from MOOOI, a beautiful open kitchen, the ceiling is completely of glass and there\u2019s a beautiful bar. The staff is very friendly and really thoughtful. There\u2019s a full description of each course down to the explanation of where each piglet or fish comes from.<\/p>\n<h2>Super Fresh ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>In De Kas in Amsterdam they are convinced that food tastes best when it is prepared with the freshest ingredients, grown and harvested with respect for nature. You will definitely taste this in their dishes. The portions are good and the wines that are compiled by the sommelier are very well tuned with the dishes.<\/p>\n<p>We believe that you should visit this lovely restaurant at least once. It&#8217;s not cheap, but it is definitely worth your money! If you do not want to spend much money, but still would like to experience the food of De Kas, you can always have lunch sometime. This is also very delicious!<br \/>\nAnd just when you think you\u2019ve had all the good food and service you could get they give you a fresh apple from the garden as a souvenir. We are in love with De Kas!
