Le Mary Celeste in Paris

Last week we were in Paris again to visit some nice places including Le Mary Celeste. We wanted to visit this place last year already, but back then they were just in their opening month when we paid a visit to Paris. And ofcourse everyone wanted to eat at Le Mary Celeste, so we thought: “We come back next time back when they are all settled for an honest review.” So we did!

Delicious cocktails and super service

Le Mary Celeste is located in our favorite neighborhood, Le Marais. It is hidden at the corner in a dark alley but is “definitely” worth a visit!
The interior cozy and cute. Not very special, but what they DO have is SUPER delicious cocktails and dishes.

Dishes are exquisite!

The nice waiter gave us a cozy little table by the window and then a handed us a French menu card. Ofcourse we didn’t understand everything so he had to translate a few things, but soon we knew what we wanted to order. Six oysters, seven dishes and five cocktails later we walked back to our hotel with a very satisfied feeling. “My food is 100% driven on being delicious.” That’s Chef Haan Palcu-Chang’s philosophy on cooking, and it’s clear from tasting the dishes at Le Mary Celeste!

*Tip: Reservations are only accepted between 6 PM till 7.30 PM. The rest of the evening is reserved for walk-in guest.
