If we want to go out for dinner, we do not immediately take the east of Amsterdam into consideration. But behind the bathhouse on the Javaplein, you will find this super nice restaurant: Wilde Zwijnen. Upon entering you immediately feel the pleasant atmosphere and the staff will kindly welcome you.

The interior is very nice. The best way to describe it: industrial meets shabby chic I think! Beautiful concrete floor, stone walls, light bulbs on the ceiling and industrial tables where your name is written on if you have made a reservation.

Wilde Zwijnen in Amsterdam serves traditional cuisine with their own twist. However, all prepared fresh with the best ingredients! We love!
The waiters are very friendly but sometimes not as quick as we want them to be. But hey, the ambiance, the food and your company (if you brought one) is good enough, right?

Wilde Zwijnen is one of our favourites and is definitely an asset to Amsterdam East!

Tip: Make sure to call for a table first!
